Apartment close to the beach with one bedroom No seaviews MENORCA

Cozy, spacious, well equipped flat next to Punta Prima beach Positive: Right next to the beach, enough spacious with large terrace and well equipped kitchen (even essentials to cook, e.g. oils, salt, etc. were provided). Clean premises and friendly staff. Negative: The only little downside was a dead cockroach, and the water from the shower up front that didn’t sink. However the workers are aware and need to wait until the gardeners take care of it. No problem!

Lovely location. Disappointing experience. WATCH THE HIDDEN DEPOSIT CHARGES. Positive: Nice location on the beach. If you have a room facing the sea and can sit on your balcony on the evening, this must be lovely (I wouldn't know). The beach is very nice, not many waves, clear water. Friendly feeling. Negative: Don't book these apartments if you know you are going to arrive early. There is no toilet facilites or anywhere to leave your cases while waiting for your room. You also need to access the internet to check in and fill forms, so if you can't use your phone overseas, or are as useless (as my dad is on his phone) then this is not an option. There is no inperson communication. The deposit situation is ridiculous. I paid more for the deposit than I did for my stay in the apartments. I booked 3 nights for one person (but only stayed for 2). I paid c.475 Euros for the stay then had to pay 500 Euros for 3 nights deposit. Bonkers. You either have to pay cash via BACS (which incurs a charge with your UK bank), pay on your credit card and the apartment company add a levy of c. 20 Euros to this, or you can pay their insurance premium which is c. 30 Euros. I was so annoyed and disgusted. My blood is still boiling to this day. 500 Euros for one person for 3 nights, it is just ridiculous. If you have a room facing the sea I am sure it will be lovely - I was on the ground floor at the back, which was very disappointing. You wouldn't know you were in beautiful Menorca. My room was also starting to look tired. Chipped toilet seats, rust on the fridge etc.

Positive: tout était parfait à 2 pas de la plage, petites attentions à grignoter et à consommer. Spacieux, très bien placé loin du tumulte des sites touristiques, pour retrouver le calme le soir.

Pleasant. Positive: Fabulous locations next to the lovely beach. Close to the restaurants and a couple of supermarkets nearby, bus stop to Mahon 2 minutes away. Everything you need included. Outside space was a great size, we were on the ground floor, at the rear, so non of the views of the beach. Negative: If I was to be critical, remember that it's not a hotel, so the rooms are not cleaned , we were there Friday to Tuesday and not cleaned whilst we're were there, towels are not replenished, toilet rolls, not replenished so be aware. You seem to need to buy these things including washing up liquid and coffee pods, tea, etc, though you did get one washing tablet if you wanted to clean your own.

Perfetta Positive: Perfetta per una vacanza tranquilla posto super carino, spiaggia magnifica acqua super pulita, ci sono ristoranti e market vicino. Anche il parcheggio per strada abbiamo trovato tutti i giorni senza problemi. Camera comoda. D’altronde ci sono 2 ombrelloni, carte da gioco e una palla per la spiaggia. Appena arrivati siete forniti di caffè, prosciutto, latte. E anche di tutti i prodotti per pulire. Sinceramente perfetta
